The city of Manchester hosted Neighbourly’s third European Reunion from 27-30 March after being chosen over other European mainland destinations and brought together over 350 franchisees across eight brands from four countries, to collaborate, celebrate and have fun as one family.
The 2019 theme ‘First Class’ celebrated the goals achieved and announced the new plans for all of the service brands in the year ahead. The convention was also a tribute to the world class service that the franchisees deliver to customers’ across Europe, as well as an opportunity for the franchise owners to network and share best practice. Neighbourly’s newest family member, Dream Doors, also attended the event over the four days.
A gala dinner, which included an awards ceremony, took place on one of the evenings to honour the success of leading franchisees from each of the brands in the UK, Ireland, Austria and Germany.
“Neighborly has had another strong year of performance, continuing to execute on our plan for growth in Europe and North America. We are now the world leader of franchise brands focused on repairing, maintaining and enhancing homes and properties”, commented Mike Bidwell, CEO and President of Neighborly. “Reunion is a time to share good practice, learn something new, while also celebrating accomplishments. We get a lot of value by connecting with our franchisees at these annual events and it is the only time we come together as one business community with shared goals and values.
“This year’s European Reunion has been a fantastic success for not only ourselves as a franchisor, but for all our franchisees. It has been one of the largest gatherings of franchise owners in Europe, and we wouldn’t of wanted to be anywhere else, Manchester, the home of culture, music and sport.” Neighbourly in Europe consists of eight brands. The UK brands include Aire Serv®, Bright & Beautiful®, Countrywide Grounds Maintenance®, Drain Doctor®, Mr. Electric® and Dream Doors®. The German and Austrian brands include Locatec® and Rainbow International®.
